<b>Mr. Lawrence Olusola Ogunsina is a 1992 graduate of Accountancy from The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti;
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA);
A Fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI) and a Licensed Tax Practitioner;
A Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC);
A certified Management Consultant by Institute of Management Consultants;
He is an accredited Management Trainer by Nigeria Council for Management Development;
A Certified Forensic Accountant (CFA) and an Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Management (chartered). He is also a Registered Professional, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
Sola Ogunsina has over two and half decades of robust career experience acquired in various sectors where he served in different capacities; including but not limited to Accounting/Audit firm, Insurance, Banking, manufacturing, telecommunication, Investment, Transport / Logistics, Tax management, Business Development Strategy, Entrepreneurial Skills, Management Consulting as well as Oil & gas.
Amongst organisations where he had his working shots include; British-American Insurance Company, Olusola Adekanola &Co.(Chartered Accountants), Kunle Fakolade & Co. (Chartered Accountants), First Bank Nigeria plc, May & Baker Nigeria Plc, Phillip Consulting, MTN Nigeria Telecoms, Seamol-Edge Associates Ltd and Havilah Hydrocarbons Resources Nig. Ltd .
Sola pioneered the deployment of Human Manager Software to manage staff payroll while in May & Baker Plc (Year 2000). He also pioneered the position of Head, Finance & Administration, Havilah Hydrocarbon Resources Management Nigeria Limited (an Oil & Gas service Company year 2009) in Lekki Lagos; the position he occupied for almost six years and was later elevated to Chief Finance Officer; making him an officer of the Board in year 2015.
While in Havilah hydrocarbons Resources Management Nigeria Limited, he served as the Team lead on a special forensic/investigation audit and due diligence for Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) which involved international assignment in Italy (2015)
He pioneered the position of Managing Partner, Seamol-Edge Associates Ltd in June 2016. This new position offers him the responsibility of steering the wheel of the company’s operations as the Chief Executive Officer; providing policy thrust and formulating direction to achieve the organizational goals and objectives.
He is a seasoned professional with flare for consulting, Tax Management, Business Development Strategy, Business process re-engineering and Financial Analysis; an expert in Nigerian Accounting and Tax systems.
Lawrence was a member of Faculty of Tax Administration and Policy, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, from 2013 till April 2018 following which he became a member of the Extractive Industry Faculty of same CITN in April 2018 till date. As a member of the Faculty, he involves in various tax policy strategies including review of the National Tax policy during a retreat organized by the Institute (CITN), designing taxpayers’ sensitization programme. He is a focal person and lead Consultant to many clients on tax dispute resolution.
Mr. Ogunsina is endowed with exceptional leadership and people’s management skills. He is a TV/Radio programme facilitator, a motivational speaker; targeting youths on area of skill acquisition, moral improvement and career development.
Sola travelled widely, attending conferences and seminars; abreast with global contemporary issues.
He is a political enthusiast and had career stint in politics between 2012 and 2014 while he served as Ido/Osi Local Government Secretary (2012-2013 where he displayed his knack for industry and integrity) also as Special Assistant on Local Government affairs to H/E Dr. John Fayemi (2013-2014.) He constantly bares his mind on contemporary issues on Nigerian politics in the media.
Mr. Lawrence Ogunsina received so many awards in recognition of his excellent/exemplary community, Christianity and professional contributions.
He is married and blessed with promising children.</b>
