Charles Olusegun Adekuajo, P.Eng.
Chairman, BOD

Charles holds BSc. Hon. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan and MBA from Delta State University, Abraka. He is a professional engineer, registered with COREN in Nigeria and maintains memberships with Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Apart from being chairman of IbharCan Investment Limited, Charles is executive chairman of Stonewall Tech Nig. Ltd., chairman FirstHome Mortgage Brokers Ltd., chairman of FUNBIZ Agro Limited, MD/CEO Havilah hydrocarbon Resources Management Nig. Limited, director in EnergyHub, and director, ReahHope Nig. Limited. He is chairman, and founding partner, Midas Micro Finance Bank Limited.

He is also a Registered Professional, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria and Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) of Nigeria. He is also Chairperson, Ido-Ekiti Industrialization & Youth Empowerment Committee of the IDO-EKITI SUMMIT and Chairman, Acejo Heritage Foundation, an NGO that reaches out to widows in need and Member, Board of Trustees, Sola Adeola Cradle-2-Career Foundation. Engr. Charles Adekuajo is married with children.

                                                                     


Lawrence Ogunsina, FCA      
 Managing Consultant

Lawrence has over two and half decades of robust career experience acquired in various sectors where he served in different capacities; including but not limited to Accounting/Audit firm, Insurance, Banking, manufacturing, telecommunication, Investment, Transport / Logistics, Tax management, Business Development Strategy, Entrepreneurial Skills, Management Consulting as well as Oil & gas. Amongst organizations where he had his working shots include; British-American Insurance Company, Olusola Adekanola &Co. (Chartered Accountants), Kunle Fakolade & Co. (Chartered Accountants), First Bank Nigeria plc, May & Baker Nigeria Plc, Phillip Consulting,  MTN Nigeria Telecoms, Seamol-Edge Associates Ltd and Havilah Hydrocarbons Resources Nig. Ltd.

A 1992 graduate of Accountancy from The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti; He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA); A Fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI) and a Licensed Tax Practitioner; A Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC); A certified Management Consultant by Institute of Management Consultants; He is an accredited Management Trainer by Nigeria Council for Management Development; A Certified Forensic Accountant (CFA) and An Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Management (chartered). He is also a Registered Professional, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.

Mr. Ogunsina is endowed with exceptional leadership and people’s management skills. He is a TV/Radio programme facilitator, a motivational speaker; targeting youths on area of skill acquisition, moral improvement and career development. Sola travelled widely, attending conferences and seminars; abreast with global contemporary issues. Mr. Lawrence Ogunsina received so many awards in recognition of his excellent/exemplary community, Christianity and professional contributions. He is married and blessed with promising children.


Francisca  Adekuajo     
Director, Diaspora Investment/ Partnership

Mrs Francisca Adekuajo has over a decade proven accounting and administrative experience in Oil and Gas and other business sectors within and outside Nigeria. Franci graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Nigeria in 1996 and Diploma in Business Management, Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Nigeria, 1990. She earned a Diploma in Canadian Association of Petroleum Production Accounting (CAPPA) Level 4, Certified General Accountants of Canada (CGA) Intermediate student and Computer Fundamentals: MS Word, Excel and Simply Accounting in Southern Alberta Inst. of Tech., Calgary, Canada 2003.

In the same year attended Exceptional Customer Service and Business Communications course with Mc Bride Career Group Int., Calgary, Canada. Francisca is now the MD/CEO of KidsFirst Creative Childcare Investment Inc., Canada. She manages the company real properties in Calgary, Canada and doubles as director, Kids First Childcare Centre (www.kidsfirstcreative.com), a licensed childcare centre with daycare, school age and Montessori Preschool programs. Focused, problem solving and result oriented professional, she has excellent analytical and communication skills. She has excellent work ethic and pay strong attention to details. She rolled as Accounts Payable / Web-site assistant (Contract) in Unisource Canada, Inc., handling all activities in A/P and A/R, ensuring prompt payment of invoices and controlled company’s petty cash flow. She was earlier a Cashier in Wal-Mart Calgary Alberta. Before joining Walmart, she Manager / Sales representative for Fanzie, Cholad & Associates Ltd., where she participated in product quality improvements, developed channel to meet sales forecast, analysed market trends and customer needs, held regular consultation with clients to secure new business opportunities and contracts for company. She offered support to company in new local product development and implemented effective marketing strategies for product sales. Acted as liaison between Project Managers and customers to ensure that all specifics of the sales contract are understood by both parties.

Prior to moving to Canada in 2002, She worked as Accounting Assistant with Baker Hughes Inteq. (Nigeria) in Warri and with Shell Petroleum Development Company, as Technical Assistant on contract engagement. Her Industrial Training was with Nigeria Ports Authority (Nigeria) in 1990.


 

Funmilayo Falomo
 Director

Funmi is a BSc and MSc degree holder in Mathematics, and currently on MBA program in ABU. Having worked in the real estate, production and oil and gas industries, she prides in her strong ability to demonstrate multi- disciplinary talents in social communication, office administration and human relations, despite coming from a science background.

Funmi is dynamic and versatile. She has strong leadership and people’s management skills, work in Ibarcan Investment Limited as Head Credit Analysis & Processing and Underwritter. Also work in Havilah Hydrocarbon Resource management as Finance/Administrative Manager in charge of payroll administration, insurance coverage for staff and assets, amongst other roles.

Before joining Havilah, Funmi worked as Client service officer/ marketer in Navateq Nigeria Ltd., where she engaged in developing and maintaining client’s data, sales and marketing of company’s Products and General office support. She previously worked in International breweries Plc, Ilesa Osun State on Industrial attachment in marketing department. She did her NYSC in Arohko senior secondary school, Arohko, Edo state, teaching science subject and mathematics in senior classes and engaged in marking of examination scripts.


Adeyemi Oduwole
Non- Executive Director

Mrs. Oduwole Adeyemi (Yemi) is an accomplished Licensed Practical Nurse with a decade of experience in her discipline, working with the South Calgary Medical Clinic. She is a registered and active member of the ‘College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta’. Yemi has numerous clinical experiences with the Rockyview General Hospital – Medical Unit and Foothills Medical Centre – Neurology Unit and she is in pursuit of becoming a Medical Practitioner in the near future.

Before venturing into the health industry, Yemi received a Business Administration Diploma in Finance at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). She worked as a Bookkeeper with Samrok Canada Inc. liaising with some major retails stores in Canada. Adeyemi is a seasoned entrepreneur and a business enthusiast, who is energetic, compassionate, reliable, hard-working, and passionate about making positive differences in people’s life. She is keenly interested in investment opportunities and real estate development.


Adesuwa Colin Owie 
 Director, Business Development / Financing

Adesuwa is a lady of diverse interests and skills. A graduate of political science and public administration, an accomplished realtor with over 11 years’ experience in diverse industries such as hospitality and entertainment, consulting and real estate management. Ade has functional expertise ranging across sale management, client relationship management and administration. She is highly motivated with excellent communication skills, able to work in targeted environment as an individual and as a team in a strategic capacity which also harness and utilizes her unique blend of sales management, administration and business acumen. She is a woman that has broken the norm in the world of real-estate and entrepreneurship.

Adesuwa is a mature, positive thinking and hardworking individual, who always strives to achieve the highest standard possible, at any given task. She possesses excellent communication skills, and has the ability and experience to relate to a wide range of people. Her unrelenting approach to work ensured that she excelled in record times in every endeavor where her mates have struggled. She is a recipient of many national and international awards in her works in the UK, UAE and in Nigeria.

She has always been passionate about the plight of destitute people, widows and youths in especially because of their vulnerability to the danger of crime and substance abuse of the 21st century and she also being raised by a widow herself, knowing the struggle they go through. Her passion birthed the Acejo heritage foundation, a self-funded non-governmental organization (NGO) that has executed a handful of humanitarian projects like providing access to safe and clean water for environments without, fed hundreds of the needy across the country, provided basic healthcare and even education needs and opportunities for the chosen ones as she prefers to call them and wiping their tears in the way she can like facilitating various community development initiative including borehole project for communities in riverine area, project 1k1life, and project ocean ace and working on 5000 thousand social housing unit. Her works have proceeded her and she was presented with an award of excellence (humanitarian award status) from the vigilante group of Nigeria and also got an honorary invitation from her alma mater university (Benson Idahosa university) to lecture and mentor the undergraduate on forging meaningful career relationship based on her performance over the years. Through the years, Adesuwa has garnered a handful of relationships, been exposed to life in different levels of the economy, the public and television, and she is very curious with a potent desire to speak up on behalf of the voiceless and vulnerable to propagate the gospel of love, communal living, giving to the society and creating an enabling and sustainable society for people of all races and color.

Her difficult upbringing which could have flawed her very existence has become the core of her success as it shaped and refined her, making her a welcoming and resourceful leader with an optimistic approach towards life and situations that accompany it. Her stories of success despite the challenges is an inspiring one which motivates others coupled with her tremendous ease to effectively communicate with all human tribes and races of her vision and hopes for the future of the vulnerable and less privileged. Adesuwa hopes that she could get influential people of like minds that will join her in creating a productive environment with a productive source of revenue that will also touch lives, add value, improve the standard of living, forge meaningful relationships and bring about the real change Nigerian and Africa earnestly seeks and desires.
