Charles Olusegun Adekuajo, P.Eng.
Chairman, BOD
Charles holds BSc. Hon. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Ibadan and MBA from Delta State University, Abraka. He is a professional engineer, registered with COREN in Nigeria and maintains memberships with Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA), Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Apart from being chairman of IbharCan Investment Limited, Charles is executive chairman of Stonewall Tech Nig. Ltd., chairman FirstHome Mortgage Brokers Ltd., chairman of FUNBIZ Agro Limited, MD/CEO Havilah hydrocarbon Resources Management Nig. Limited, director in EnergyHub, and director, ReahHope Nig. Limited. He is chairman, and founding partner, Midas Micro Finance Bank Limited.
He is also a Registered Professional, Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria and Fellow of Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC) of Nigeria. He is also Chairperson, Ido-Ekiti Industrialization & Youth Empowerment Committee of the IDO-EKITI SUMMIT and Chairman, Acejo Heritage Foundation, an NGO that reaches out to widows in need and Member, Board of Trustees, Sola Adeola Cradle-2-Career Foundation. Engr. Charles Adekuajo is married with children.
Adesuwa Colin Owie
Director, Business Development / Financing
Adesuwa is a lady of diverse interests and skills. A graduate of political science and public administration, an accomplished realtor with over 11 years’ experience in diverse industries such as hospitality and entertainment, consulting and real estate management. Ade has functional expertise ranging across sale management, client relationship management and administration. She is highly motivated with excellent communication skills, able to work in targeted environment as an individual and as a team in a strategic capacity which also harness and utilizes her unique blend of sales management, administration and business acumen. She is a woman that has broken the norm in the world of real-estate and entrepreneurship.
Adesuwa is a mature, positive thinking and hardworking individual, who always strives to achieve the highest standard possible, at any given task. She possesses excellent communication skills, and has the ability and experience to relate to a wide range of people. Her unrelenting approach to work ensured that she excelled in record times in every endeavor where her mates have struggled. She is a recipient of many national and international awards in her works in the UK, UAE and in Nigeria.
She has always been passionate about the plight of destitute people, widows and youths in especially because of their vulnerability to the danger of crime and substance abuse of the 21st century and she also being raised by a widow herself, knowing the struggle they go through. Her passion birthed the Acejo heritage foundation, a self-funded non-governmental organization (NGO) that has executed a handful of humanitarian projects like providing access to safe and clean water for environments without, fed hundreds of the needy across the country, provided basic healthcare and even education needs and opportunities for the chosen ones as she prefers to call them and wiping their tears in the way she can like facilitating various community development initiative including borehole project for communities in riverine area, project 1k1life, and project ocean ace and working on 5000 thousand social housing unit. Her works have proceeded her and she was presented with an award of excellence (humanitarian award status) from the vigilante group of Nigeria and also got an honorary invitation from her alma mater university (Benson Idahosa university) to lecture and mentor the undergraduate on forging meaningful career relationship based on her performance over the years. Through the years, Adesuwa has garnered a handful of relationships, been exposed to life in different levels of the economy, the public and television, and she is very curious with a potent desire to speak up on behalf of the voiceless and vulnerable to propagate the gospel of love, communal living, giving to the society and creating an enabling and sustainable society for people of all races and color.
Her difficult upbringing which could have flawed her very existence has become the core of her success as it shaped and refined her, making her a welcoming and resourceful leader with an optimistic approach towards life and situations that accompany it. Her stories of success despite the challenges is an inspiring one which motivates others coupled with her tremendous ease to effectively communicate with all human tribes and races of her vision and hopes for the future of the vulnerable and less privileged. Adesuwa hopes that she could get influential people of like minds that will join her in creating a productive environment with a productive source of revenue that will also touch lives, add value, improve the standard of living, forge meaningful relationships and bring about the real change Nigerian and Africa earnestly seeks and desires.
Oluwatoyin Adetola
Operations Manager
Toyin is a trained Political Scientist, a BSc Political Science graduate of the University of Ibadan, an associate member, Institute of Chartered Economics of Nigeria, a banker and student member of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. Her background gave her entrepreneurial skills, having gone through retail, commercial and the public sectors of strategic business units of banks; from being a relationship officer in Ecobank Plc. to becoming a chief executive, Toyin have had a good background in credit appraisal and risk analysis.
She is a people’s manager with special passion to develop others and help them to achieve set targets. Her last job before joining to pioneer the formation of IbharCan Investment was Chief Executive Officer / Managing Director, Kernel Microfinance Bank Limited, Oyo. She has exceptional analytical and communication skills; and have demonstrated ability to lead, train and mentor, with excellent interpersonal skill and a multi-task team player.
Funmilayo Falomo
Head Credit Analysis & Processing/Underwritter
Funmi is a BSc and MSc degree holder in Mathematics, and currently on MBA program in ABU. Having worked in the real estate, production and oil and gas industries, she prides in her strong ability to demonstrate multi- disciplinary talents in social communication, office administration and human relations, despite coming from a science background.
is dynamic and versatile. She has strong leadership and people’s management skills, work in Ibharcan Investment Limited as Head Credit Analysis & Processing and Underwritter. Also work in Havilah Hydrocarbon Resource management as Finance/Administrative Manager in charge of payroll administration, insurance coverage for staff and assets, amongst other roles.
Before joining Havilah, Funmi worked as Client service officer/ marketer in Navateq Nigeria Ltd., where she engaged in developing and maintaining client’s data, sales and marketing of company’s Products and General office support. She previously worked in International breweries Plc, Ilesa Osun State on Industrial attachment in marketing department. She did her NYSC in Arohko senior secondary school, Arohko, Edo state, teaching science subject and mathematics in senior classes and engaged in marking of examination scripts.
Gabriel Onijigin, CFA
Head, Ibadan Business Hub
Gabriel is a tax management, accounting and financial auditing professional; an Associate Member, Chartered Institute Of Taxation Of Nigeria (CITN) and Associate Member, Institute Of Chartered Accountant Of Nigeria (ICAN). He had his elementary education at Osi Community High School and graduated from secondary school in 1981. HND Accountancy, Ibadan Polytecnic, 1989 and MBA, OAU, Ile-Ife in 2009. Gabriels’s last job before now was as a tax and management consultant, Sola Ogunsina & Co. He’s previous experience include: Chartered Accountant at Ajibade Aderogba & Co | 2011-2013, joined Afribank Nigeria Plc, in Nov. 1992, and left the bank as Branch Manager, Ogbomoso in 2011. While in Afribank, Gabriel he rose through the ranks as: Unit Head Credit and Clearing, Credit analysis and control, Ibadan Regional Office, Head Teller, Unit Head Transfer / Forex, Internal Controller, Service Delivery Mgr., Ipetumodu and Branch Manager, Ado Ekiti, 2010.
His achievement in the bank includes considerable increment on existing deposit from 180m-N385m through adequate and aggressive marketing strategies. Additional credit relationships were created and non-performing facility accounts resuscitated through meaningful proposals. Bank’s new products were vigorously marketed, leading to larger customer’s base. Under his watch, there was effective management of essential expenses resulting to tangible reduction in total overheads, proper and adequate coordination of the departments of the branch resulting in efficiency and completeness of functions; strategic approaches which led to improved profit level of the branch. He was instrumental to establishment of the first branch of the bank in Ekiti State at Ado-Ekiti. Prior joining Afribank, he worked in Niko Glass Industries Ltd. as accountant preparing financial reports to all stakeholders.
Babatope Adebiyi
Head, Ikorodu Business Hub
Experienced professional with over ten years successful career in banking, Tope deploys proactive approach in delivering excellent customers relations and satisfactions. Mr. Adebiyi graduated from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State in 2005 where he studied Business Administration. He is a Graduate Member of Nigeria Institute of Management and a Certified Credit Analyst (CICC) from Moody’s Analytics. He has over ten years’ experience in banking, having work in one of the top banks in Nigeria with branches all over Africa. His experience span across different departments of the bank during which he worked in Lagos, Abuja and Jos.
In Technology and Operation department, he worked in various unit of the department as Head Teller, Cash Officer, Head Fund Transfer, Customer Service Officer.In Marketing department as Relationship Manager in personal banking and later in Business banking (Commercial Banking) where he got letters of commendation for outstanding performance, first from the Executive Director (Business Banking), then the following year from Managing Director of the bank.
He is a technology enthusiast, loves to learn and discovers new things and had solved many technological issues practically while in banking system. In 2019, He founded Worththanks Energy (Renewable Energy and Fleet Management Company) with technical partners in Nigeria, India and China. Worththanks Energy has provided many clean and green power to various homes and businesses in Nigeria. In fleet management, he coordinates and manages some e-hailing vehicles under Uber, Bolt, Indrive and Mycab platforms.Emmanuel Babatope Adebiyi is devoted Christianity and professional to the core. He is married and blessed with covenant children.
Odewumi Joshua Olatunji
Manager, IT/ Infrastructure
Odewumi Joshua, graduated from University of Ilorin; in Faculty of sciences in 2008.He is a member of Computer Society of Nigeria. Later proceeded for a Master’s Degree program in Information and Communication Technology. He has a robust career experience across various sectors such as Education, Re-estate, Haulage, and Oil & Gas downstream & upstream operations. Joshua have various certifications in ICT which includes CISCO CCNA, MCSA, CCNP, COMPTA+, Computer and Hacking Forensics Investigation (CHFI), CISSP, Network Security, Diploma in Web design and Project Management , all with Cybrary International Training Institute, United State of America and Alison Training Institute ,United Kingdom .
Without doubts, he has a thorough understanding of key areas in Information Technology , such as Software Engineering and Development, Networking, Software Security and advisory , implementation, Network Security/threat Control and Programming .Due to his love for management par excellence, he is a member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM Chartered).
Mariam Jolayemi
Manager, HR/ LEGAL
Mariam Jolayemi graduated with LLB from the university of Ibadan and B.L from the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. She is a corporate lawyer with a high degree of skill and expertise in providing legal advisory services and a strong bias for advising the upstream oil and gas industry on contract administration, transaction structuring, taxation, market entry and regulatory compliance regime.
She worked on a wide range of cross-border commercial transaction with a particular focus on energy law practice, project finance, privatization, commercial litigation and arbitration. She worked with the Niger State Ministry of Justice as a pupil state counsel (NYSC). She maintains membership with Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
Before joining Havilah Hydrocarbon Resources Management as the Legal/HR associate, Mariam worked with the law firm of G. Kolawole Quadri & Co where she was an Associate and played a key role in the firm’s commercial practice. Mariam is highly motivated, hardworking and industrious. She brings onboard a creative and analytical approach to solving issues arising from a range of corporate commercial transactions.
